Wedderburn Barns is an atmospheric party venue that is perfect for rustic barn wedding parties, birthdays and anniversaries, corporate events, or any type of celebration. You can see the full barns website at www.wedderburnbarns.co.uk

Located in the stunning grounds of Wedderburn Castle in the Scottish Borders, The Barns are set around a courtyard in a picturesque Georgian stable block.

Events at Wedderburn Barns extend across two character-filled spaces: The Provender Barn is a spacious room for dining and can seat up to 150 on comfortable wooden banquet chairs around rectangular trestle tables. Beside The Provender Barn, the Cart Shed is set up to accommodate live bands, DJs, ceilidhs, dancing and entertainment and has a fully licensed bar. The Cart Shed has five glazed arches that open fully into the courtyard garden, allowing natural light to stream into the space. The Wedderburn Barns are a two minute walk through the tranquil grounds to the castle. It is possible to have a wedding ceremony for up to 150 at the barns or a local church, then drinks cermony at the castle, followed by dinner and party at the barns - or to exclusively use the barns throughout the day. A more formal day-time event or wedding for up to 80 guests this can be held in the castle, followed by a larger barn party afterwards. The castle itself also offers 12 bedrooms for a resident party of up to 26 guests, in addition to the estate cottages that accommodate up to 16 guests in total.

Both The Provender Barn and The Cart Shed have natural stone walls, flagstone flooring, and can be decorated simply to complement the rustic nature of the surroundings. For those aiming to create a themed party, the spaces offer the flexibility to work as a blank canvas to let your imagination run wild. The banquet images above show the Provinder Barn set for 80 guests, using just over half the length of the barn. Guests can also be accommodated on round tables.

We now no longer have any weekend availablity at the barns in May, June or August 2018 and very limited weekend availability in July and September 2018. However we have April, October and November weekend dates and also reasonable mid-week availablity most months. We are currently accepting reservations through to the end of 2019.
